September 2005
Brethren,
Once again, we return from refreshment back to labor. I hope everyone was able to enjoy the summer to the best of their ability. As I write this, the temperature is still in the 80's.
We have been busy this summer, as many of you well know. The candidates took their Master Mason degree at the end of June, and are expecting to sign the by-laws at our regular meeting this month. Our picnic was well attended, and as is our annual tradition, the Master got soaked (in a canoe full of ice water this time). The golf tournament was enjoyed by all, with proceeds going to Muscular Dystrophy. We have already been invited back to Crystal Lake Golf Club for next year, and from the response of the golfers we should do even better for MDA. We also had a mini golf tournament for Juvenile Diabetes, with results to be revealed at the meeting.
What have to look forward
to? Well, the fall is the start of the
new season. We will be visiting Redwood
Lodge this month for another out-of-district visitation. Annual meeting start in earnest in
October. Our Bicentennial Celebration
continues with a Church Service at
There is so much more going on! Please make an effort to attend any and/or all of the events that we have. You won’t be sorry!
Fraternally and sincerely,
Philip N. Crawford
