February 2007
My Brothers,
Another month has passed and even thou the winter has been unusually mild, I am sure many of us are looking forward to that mid winter break that we call the Cape Cod Getaway. Please make sure your reservations are in order and paid for.
By the time you receive this we should have ten new brothers from our January Degrees. We have four more candidates for the Entered Apprentices Degree on February 6th, and I would urge as many as possible to come to the February meeting to support the officers in their work. If you haven’t been in a while, this would be an excellent opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of the lodge and a chance for an great dinner.
The Fellowcraft Club continues to grow and to be of great service to the Master and the Lodge. We meet on the third Wednesday and are currently seeking new members. The dues are only $1.00 per year and believe me you will enjoy yourself. We just enjoyed an excellent evening at Boston Billiards where many brothers were able to demonstrate their prowess at the tables.
The game dinner is fast approaching and we can always use a few more hands. It is a lot of work but also a good time of brotherhood and a very important fund raising event. If you would like to help, either come down to the next Fellowcraft meeting or call Brother Henry Rossi or Wor. John Cirelli for details.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Bro. Stephen Kempf on winning the United States National Championship in Karate, he will continue on to the World Championships in Portugal later on this year. I understand that there is a good possibility of his being named to the U.S. Olympic squad for the next Games. We all wish you success in this undertaking.
As always, should you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, I will be happy to hear them. Your officers are working very hard to provide you with a Harmony Lodge that you can be proud of, and any help that you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
Fraternally and sincerely
