WORSHIPFUL MASTER
HARMONY LODGE #9 F&AM
2007 - 2008
Brothers,
Having one last message presents me with something of a quandary. What objective can be served having such an opportunity? In short, what can I say that I haven’t already said?
There are so many to thank for their advice, support, and most especially their friendship. When the East seemed more than I could handle, it was your faith that sustained me. It should come as no surprise that my first expression of thanks must be to the officers. Gentlemen, you have served your Lodge and your Master well this year and you have earned my gratitude and respect. I am proud to having served with each of you.
As exemplary as the officer’s line has been, there were many others who stepped up and supported me. I could not possibly name all of you, but please know having you by my side made the adventure so much richer. To be candid, at times it was disheartening to see 80% of the Lodge absent in most of our ventures in fellowship. It was the enthusiasm and passion with which the rest of you embraced the teachings of friendship, morality, and brotherly love that sustained me. My gratitude to each and every Brother who merits it.
To the Class of 2000, our contribution has just begun. I pray I prove worthy of calling each of you classmate. We were taught that a Master is obligated to support each of his officers as they become Master. Time will judge if we are equal to the task. So, the adventure continues… J
Fraternally & Sincerely,
Steve
