WORSHIPFUL MASTER
HARMONY LODGE #9 F&AM
2007 - 2008
Hello Brothers,
Well, I hope springtime is creeping towards us by now. It is hoped that this time of renewal and brighter weather will see more of our brothers renewing the brotherhood of the Craft and attending lodge. Your officer’s line continues to work hard to make your lodge a place we all feel welcome at and I urge those of you who have not had the opportunity to attend lodge lately to make that welcome a part of you. I have conversed with many brothers I have not seen in lodge lately and know the love of the craft still prevails in your hearts, so let your heart lead you back to the brotherhood.
The Fellowcraft club will be hosting a Billiards night at Boston Billiards on April 16th at 7:00 pm. You must buy tickets in advance for this event, $10, which will be refunded at the door. This is to assist us in the count. So basically it’s FREE! Bring a friend, bring a prospective member, it’s still FREE if you buy a ticket in advance from any officer. Members of Harmony that show up without an advance ticket will be charged $10 nonrefundable. Free is a very good deal, brothers. If you can’t get to an officer before the 16th, mail me a check payable to Harmony Fellowcraft club for $10 before the 16th and I’ll reserve your ticket and still refund your $10 to you that night.
Regrettably, the Harmony Lodge Spring Fling Party scheduled for April 26th has been postponed. It is my hope that we can reschedule this event in the near future.
Mark your calendars for the Master Mason’s Degree on Thursday, May 1st, 5:00pm, at the Doric Masonic Center. If you would like to be involved in this degree, contact our Senior Steward, Bro. Dean Tallman at 828-5995.
Also, note the date for our Ladies Luncheon on Saturday, noon, May 10th, 2008, at Chelo’s on Post Rd. I will be assisting Cuz by taking all reservations for this event so please call me at 919-8459 to make your reservation. If you get voicemail, be assured I’ll return your call.
My personal thanks to Bro. Kyle Gamache for his presentation on PM Elijah H. Rhodes at the March communication. We have had wonderful historical presentations at the last two meetings. If you have a presentation or an idea you wish to proceed with, give me a call, I’d love to see more of this in lodge.
I look forward to seeing each of you in lodge in the near future.
Fraternally & Sincerely,
Steve
