WORSHIPFUL MASTER
HARMONY LODGE #9 F&AM
2008 - 2009
My Brothers,
Happy New Year!!!! I truly hope that you and your families have had a very Happy Holiday Season!
In December we held our Ladies Luncheon at Chelos Restaurant on Post Rd. This event was very well attended and I can not express my gratitude to Wor. Cuz Harrop for all of his work with the Special Ladies of our Lodge. His dedication to this program has been outstanding and ceaseless. When you see him, please give him a pat on the back and a good old “atta boy”.
Also for the Ladies Luncheon I would like to thank the following individuals for their hard work. Our Senior Stewart, Mike Dixon, for organizing the event. Wor. Alan French and his Daughter, Allison, for taking care of the gifts for our ladies. And finally, I would like to thank my sister, Melissa Edwards, for getting the center pieces, they were lovely.
December is such a busy time for Harmony, with not only the Ladies Luncheon but also our Children’s Christmas Party and our Sick and Shut-in visitations and this year, Harmony participated in the Food Basket Program run by St. Johns #1P. I would like to thank everyone who helped with the planning and execution of these events. I especially would like to congratulate Mike Dixon and Robert Kempf on there outstanding efforts in putting together the Children’s Christmas Party and Sick and Shut-in’s Visitations, respectively. Their dedication was very apparent in the success of both events.
So here we are, 2009, and the start of our busy season when it comes to degree work. Currently we have planed two Entered Apprentice Degrees for January. The first will take place on January 27th and the second on January 29th. We still have more applications coming in and who knows, we might have to add another degree. What a terrible problem to have. I can only hope it is a problem that we continue to have for many years to come. Please come out to the degrees to welcome our soon to be brothers.
As a reminder brothers, we have the Cape Get-Away Weekend coming up on February 13th to the 15th. Deposits are required in January so please make sure you get your reservations in to Wor. Steve Charron with a check by the end of January.
Fraternally & Sincerely,
James
