James I. Ogilvie
WORSHIPFUL MASTER
HARMONY LODGE #9 F&AM
2008 - 2009
Wardens and Brethren,
I am writing you today with a great deal of pride for one of our members. This individual has worked tirelessly within Harmony Lodge over the course of many years and in many capacities. He has progressed through to the Grand Line, with the culmination of his travels to happen on May 18th when he will be installed as The Most Worshipful Grand Master for The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. If by now you have not figured out who I am talking about, it is our own R.W. Richard Ault. He will be installed at the Grand Lodge on May 18th and I encourage all of you to come out and support our brother on this day.
So now here we are, May! And after all of the rain we have had in April, lets see if we truly get a lot of May Flowers. May is going to be a busy month in Harmony. Between the Grand Lodge Annual Meeting, a Master Mason Degree on the 28th and all of our usual events of the month, it looks like a fun and busy month.
Also, in the month of May we should take the time to remember the women in our lives that are our Mother’s or the Mother’s of our children. On May 10th we celebrate Mother’s Day and I encourage all of you to take the time to make a phone call, send a card or have a nice meal for these special women in our lives.
I would like to thank all those who came out to the official visitation of Fidelity Chapter, Order of DeMolay on April 24th. It is so important that we support these young men in all their endeavors. These DeMolays are the future of not only this great craft of which we are all members, but also of our great country.
Fraternally & Sincerely,
James
