WORSHIPFUL MASTER

HARMONY LODGE #9 F&AM

2009 - 2010

Greetings Brothers,

Well it’s February in New England and as I write this in Mid January I’m already sick of ice and snow. My family has been in RI since 1969 and I cannot say I’ve been a lover of winter. Our Jr. Deacon Ed Diggle stopped by today and was telling me a little about his trip to England with the Grand Master. I hope Brother Diggle will regale us with tales of his travels with The Grand Master at the February meeting. Many of you may have seen on the news, England is experiencing it’s worst winter in some 30 years! I wonder if Harmonic Lodge in St Thomas would like a visit? Who’s up for that!

February is going to be BUSY we start with our regular meeting on the 2nd and in homage to my New Orleans roots and Mardi Gras dinner will be red beans and rice with some gumbo and corn bread, PLEASE call Brother Wiggins with reservations. The Grand Master is visiting Redwood Lodge on the 8th all members are encouraged to show Harmony’s support for our Grand Master, it’s always interesting to visit other lodge and see how others do things and meet our brothers from all over. The 12th brings one of my favorite events, the Cape getaway! If you’ve never been, you have no idea of the fellowship you’ve been missing, not to mention its just plain fun! Do I need to remind you of the Fellow craft club, same as always 3rd Wednesday.  We round out the month with not one but two! Entered apprentice degrees. We have an application for Merrill Torgan jr that will be voted in the February meeting assuming that all goes well this class will contain the namesakes of to proud brothers of Harmony.

In closing all I can say is GET UP! GET INVOLVED! Harmony is a busy place! Look at the calendar on the back of this tresteale board, join us on facebook , or the web site. If you cannot find an event you are interested in SUGGEST ONE!

May the blessing of heaven rest upon you and your families,

Fraternally,
